This is an amazing set of 12 Tiffany & Company mostly mixed metal and enameled demitasse spoons set of 12 in original box.
Weight is 181 grams or 5.819 troy ounces.
Most measure at an average of 4-3/8" long.
11 of the spoons are 100% original to the set. There is one spoon that appears to married in, but matches perfectly with the rest.
All 12 spoons have the M mark for Edward C. Moore and were probably made in the 1870's or early 1880's.
All spoons have a gold washed bowl some with 14k hues and others with more of a rose gold hue.
Fitted box is in excellent condition.
Inventory as follows:
2 "Miello" Pattern Egyptian style obelisk shaped spoons with mixed metal copper and other possible metals
2 Moorish style spoons with enameled inlay and possibly some copper
1 Ultra rare turtle on lily pads themed spoon rose gold gilt washed base
1 Khutani Crane spoon mixed metal gold washed background obverse and crescent moon on reverse
1 Mixed Metal spoon with 3 copper flowers and gold branches
1 Reticulated, Pierced and mixed metal gold washed Butterfly spoon - highly unique! You need to look hard to see the butterfly.
1 Classic Repousse style spoon
1 Olympian spoon all gold
1 Japanese spoon mixed metal gold washed background with stunning detail work beyond the normal craftsmanship level
1 Floral "Vine" pattern - this one is probably not original to the set, (the slider.)
This is one incredible set containing some of the rarest Tiffany demitasse spoons ever produced on the planet. The set is original with the exception of one slider. You won't find a nicer set of demitasse spoons than this one anywhere else on the internet, or in the world for all that matter.
Available on Ebay for $5,995.00
